Probably a dumb question but I didn't notice this on other cars... My brand-new V6 idles very quietly (about 700 rpm) but from time to time, some sort of fan or something turns on and whines fairly loud, and after a bit it shuts down (AC is off). This is especially noticeable at night... also at night it's pretty cool, like 60-65 degrees.

Mileage is 27k. Usually happens when you suddenly step on the gas around 1800-3000 rpm, beyond that rpm noise goes away. Usually on 80-90s fahrenheit. And also when you put it to S mode you will hear the whine as well especially on Manual mode even when driving slow. But on normal cruising and gradual depressing the gas, there is no whinning.
