Shadow Systems is a descent gun. Not something I would recommend to someone not familiar to firearms. Mines ran flawless and I enjoy shooting it. I run a MR920 combat with no optic cut. I think quality control needs to be more better from what I've seen from other posts here but they could be the minority.

Regarding warranty Shadow Systems has a lifetime warranty for the original buyer, contrasting nicely with Glock's one year. Either gun is easy enough to just replace broken parts on.
